Administration Joomla! 4.x • I do not want dropdown menus. How to disable it?

I’ve created a menu directory tree with the following structure located on my left sidebar:
Travel Reviews > (category list of countries) > (category list of states) > Articles

Example:
Travel Reviews > United States > California > Articles

So I just want a trail to connect top directory > subdirectory > subdirectory > articles

The layout works fine and takes one to the articles. However, the system is showing a series of dropdown menus starting from the top directory. But I don’t want any dropdown menus at all.

How do I disable dropdown menus and just have a series of linked directories leading to the articles?
